Bootcamp
90 Minute Group Lesson
Join these weekly intensive trainings lasting 90 minutes. MRC Bootcamp is specifically designed to help prepare riders for riding in open space. These classes can evaluate and prepare you for hacks, hunter paces and foxhunting. You will be riding with other MRC equestrians, building fitness and friendship for future outings. Classes will rotate from the outdoor ring, indoor arena and the cross country field with hacks around the property.
We offer (4) Bootcamp Levels, if it is your first time joining MRC, please pay close attention to the MRC Level required for each class in addition to approval required by another preliminary Bootcamp.
Level 2 Flat classes are for riders who already meet all of the Level 2 requirements. These classes are for riders who are mastering their canters, working on ground poles, circles and riding in control in a group. This is a great class to join for your first Bootcamp.
Level 3 Advanced Flat classes are for riders who have been approved to move up from Level 2 Flat, who meet all of the Level 3 requirements. These classes will work on more technical skills and movements on the flat at all gaits.
Level 3 Intro to Jump classes are for riders who have been approved to move up from the flat classes and who are already proficient with ground poles, all gaits and riding in a group. This class is good for riders who are developing the jumping fundamentals on various levels of horses.
Level 3/4 Jump classes (approval required from another class) are for MRC approved riders only. This means you have been invited by an instructor to join this class. If you have not been invited to join, please join one of the other classes you meet the requirements for and ask if you are approved or what you need to work on to get there!
