Terms of service

When making a purchase you agree that all equine activities come with a risk of injury or death. Horses are animals and can be unpredictable and in no way is Manhattan Riding Club or it's partners liable or responsible for any injuries you may incur from your involvement with horses. When you book a ride you take responsibility for knowing your capabilities and for any accidents that may occur.

 

MRC requires all riders to provide their riding history and skill level to create a “rider profile” for our horse partners to review and prepare. You are responsible to provided honest and thoughtful evaluation. Additionally by booking a ride with us you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, click here. 

Our ride arrival and start times are clearly communicated in advance and we expect riders to arrive on time as a courtesy to other riders, staff and horses. Late or no show riders will not be eligible to ride, have a credit for future rides or any other compensation. 

By making a purchase you also agree to our cancellation and refund policy which states that we do not offer any refunds on ride purchases unless the ride is cancelled by us or our partners. In the event of cancellations made in greater than 72 hours we will consider a credit, credits are not applicable on retreats or multi-day events. Credits are only valid for 1 month from original ride date.
