Vixen Meet
Join us for one of the most exciting meets in the North East, a day designed especially for all the lady foxhunters! Join a field led by Olympian Boyd Martin and ride alongside women from across the North East!
With jumping and non jumping fields available this hunt has options for all Level 3 riders! Enjoy a fabulous post hunt tea to socialize with the Cheshire hunt staff, Boyd Martin and other riders. It's a special day that comes only once a year, don't miss your chance to check it out!
Come up a day early and stay in one of the hunt members homes or other local accommodation (included in cost) and join the Vixen Hunt Dinner Party!
SCHEDULE
10AM Riders arrive
10:30AM Horses coming off trailer and riders begin mounting
10:45AM All riders mounted and gathering around hunt staff and hounds, meet begins, staff share announcements for the day
*The hunt lasts 1.5-4 hours

THE HORSES
There are a variety of breeds with different personalities, trained for open space riding, foxhunting, hunter paces and used in our lessons. From spirited thoroughbreds to quieter draft breeds.
SETTING
Foxhunting and equestrian sports are alive and well across the North East. This stunningly beautiful county remains open to the very animals that helped build it. Foxhunting is a union of humans and creatures in the beauty of nature’s setting. Man is an observer mounted on a horse, the vehicle that allows him to follow and survey the hounds as they hunt the fox.

ATTIRE
Formal Hunt: Black hunt coat, white stock tie, canary or tattersall vest, tan breeches, black dress boots and black hunt cap.
TRANSPORTATION
Kennett Square, PA
By Car: 143 miles south west of Midtown (around 2 hours without traffic)
