Join 5* Event Rider Booli Selmayr in Millbrook, NY for a dynamic eventing clinic designed for riders of all levels.

Booli’s background includes fox hunting and eventing with Golden’s Bridge Hounds Pony Club, international competition experience in Leicestershire, England, and years of producing top horses through her program, Fox Valley Sport Horses.

Session Dates

June 12 – Session 1: Foundations of Position & Balance

This session focuses on developing a secure and effective position across all gaits and varied terrain.

Riders will work on:

• Establishing a balanced, adaptable position
• Understanding lightness and effectiveness in the tack
• Adjusting balance within the position depending on terrain and pace
• Building the foundation needed to ride accurately and efficiently at speed

June 19 – Session 2: Lightness, Balance & Pace to the Fence

This session builds directly on the foundation established in Session 1, bringing the focus from position development into riding at relative speed to fences.

The goal of this two-part program is to confidently transition into riding at pace to fences, where balance, effectiveness, and forward riding come together to create a smooth and controlled ride.

Please note that you must join the first session in order to attend the second session, however you can also attend the first session only. 

Schedule

• Riders arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled ride time
• Approximately 60-minute session
• Cool down following ride

If demand is high, riders may be divided into multiple groups and times may vary.

Horses

There are a variety of horses available with different personalities and experience levels, from spirited Thoroughbreds to quieter draft breeds.

Rider Level

Suitable for Levels 3B, 4, and 5 who have ridden with MRC and are approved.

Location

Fox Race Farm in Millbrook, NY. Booli’s home farm featuring exceptional training facilities including a race track and cross-country courses.

Attire

Casual riding attire recommended. Riders must bring their own:

• Helmet
• Riding boots
• Safety vest
