Practice the basic cross country fences in the field with a mix of logs, cross rails, banks, ditches and more! If footing is not good the lesson will be in the arena mixed with show jumping in the style of European arena eventing in the large spacious outdoor ring. Show jumps and cross country jumps are combined to make a mixed course in the ring. 

1.5 hour lesson, riders must arrive 30 minutes early to groom and tack.

Run by Galloping Guru, this state-of-the-art equestrian facility sits on 160 acres of rolling land with panoramic views. There are 2 large outdoor rings with rubber and sand footing, a cross country schooling field and a large heated indoor arena with manicured sand and fiber footing. The indoor has a viewing room, kitchenette and bathroom with wifi available for riders!

The property has been the backdrop three times for movie and TV productions and is just minutes to the Village of Pawling, a quaint upstate, bucolic 18th century village. The charming village offers fine dining, boutique shops, antique stores, cultural attractions and a farmer's market every Saturday from June to September. Pawling has its very own Metro North station stop, just 90 minutes by train or car to NYC.
