She continued her studies of fiber at the Marshfield School of Weaving, VT and pursued additional studies at Rhode Island School of Design, RI, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Architecture Program, NY, Modern Art Foundry, NY, Studio Arts Center International, IT, and Pratt, NY.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAlexandra’s current medium of expression is weaving with horsehair. She has been training as an equestrian and working on farms since she was young and is currently practicing natural horsemanship in North Salem, NY. Alexandra also worked as a wrangler in Greenough, Montana, studying vaquero style of riding.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAlexandra draws inspiration from the healing spirit, elegance, and strength of horses. She feels most at home when working with her hands, whether focusing on her craft or outdoors completing farm work. Alexandra is interested in new perspectives created from human interaction with natural materials.
