Informal Foxhunting or Autumn Training is early season hunting and generally happens early morning with arrival times between 6am and 8am. At the Huntsman's discretion, the hounds' skills and teamwork are honed in preparation for Formal Hunting season which starts in October.
Riders can enjoy an advanced ride with jumping in First Field or a more relaxed non jumping ride in Second and Third Fields. Autumn Training is a great time for riders to get acclimated with hunt procedure and etiquette while enjoying a nice social ride with members from across the state.
Currently Galloping Guru horses are available for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday hunts with various clubs.
