 5 Week Eventing Bootcamp

Join us for this exciting opportunity to experience eventing training and finish with a friendly competition day. This 5 week program will touch on all 3 of the disciplines dressage, show jumping and cross country culminating in a show day doing all 3 phases. See what it takes to be an eventer, expand your knowledge and abilities. Open to 4 riders. Who will be paired based on skill set. Lesson for 1 hour with your lesson mate. 

September 11- Show Jumping, technique and skill for remembering and making it through your course for show day

September 18- Cross Country Jumping, safety, speed, skill and technique for covering various terrain and jump obstacles on a timed course

September 25- Dressage- How to ride a dressage test, what are the fundamentals and what does your judge look for.

September 30- (Thursday 7:30pm)- Cover any weak points and questions ahead of the show

October 9- 3 phase competition day!

  • Full eventing (all phases) in 1 day friendly competition with all eventing bootcamp riders 
  • MRC spectators to watch
  • Drinks and snacks after

 Trainer Chelsea Nix, places an emphasis on safety and pushing comfort zones in order to grow riders and meet their individual goals. She is trainer to competitive eventers and their horses and is a passionate creative teacher who is known for using a variety of techniques to get the most out of her horses and riders. She approaches her students as individuals, adjusting her technique to match individual learning styles.

The grounds have a large indoor ring, outdoor ring, cross country field, water jump, banks, ditches and plenty of hacking terrain. Show jumps are ample and have plenty of fillers and variety to provide a complete training experience.

Experience: Strong foundational training, low jumping, ready to advance and push limits to next level of riding. Ability to tack and groom. 

Recommendation: Casual riding attire. For riders who want build fitness for open space riding and cross country jumping. For riders who want to learn the skill and technique of show jumping and dressage.
