The BRLA Hack

Explore the trails in your backyard on horseback! The ride is around 2 hours long, exploring the varied terrain and wildlife trails. Cross the creeks through Beaver Dam, ride through the lush open fields full of wildflowers and pass some of your neighbors homes on the way. The experienced horses will walk and trot along the trails and lead riders along an adventure through the Bedford Riding Lanes. English or western tack is available.

Although you don’t have to be an expert with horses to join this ride, you do need to be an adult and know some of the basics as well as having the correct attire. If you are a complete beginner don’t fret! We offer weekly lessons to help get you safely prepared.

LOCAL SUGGESTIONS
Bedford and Katonah are beautiful areas and have a number of restaurants and coffee shops near the train stations. There are also 2 tack stores- The Horse Connection and Ride in the area. If you want to venture a little farther north, Purdy's Farmer and the Fish and 121 are fantastic restaurants.
