
Group Lessons
These lessons last around 60 minutes and will focus mostly on flat work at the level identified for the time you book. The instructor will have a lesson plan to match the ability of the group and work on anything from foundational skills, connection to your horse, more advanced movements and jumping!
Level 1- Minimal to no riding or horsemanship experience on a regular basis.
Level 2- Riders can steer and stop the horse and have experienced the canter before. Confident to learn more. They can post on the correct diagonal at rising trot unassisted. Focus on balance.
Level 3 Flat- Riders are proficient with standard english riding aids, can post on the correct diagonal for at least 10 minutes. Frequent trot/canter/trot transitions while maintaining position. Focus on basic dressage elements.
Level 3 Jump- Riders are proficient with standard english riding aids, can post on the correct diagonal for at least 10 minutes. Frequent walk/trot/canter transitions while maintaining position. Focus on jumping foundations and gymnastics at up to 2 feet heights.

About your instructor
You will be taught by Abigail Gordon, a life long equestrian specializing in dressage and eventing disciplines. She has instructed for multiple programs including Vershire Riding School in Vermont. After completing her undergrad at Barnard College in NYC, she managed and taught lessons at a dressage barn outside of Burlington, VT, under the guidance of Lisa Boyle Kulski who she traveled with to Wellington, Fl in the winters.
About Rounded Crest Farm
Run by Galloping Guru, this state-of-the-art equestrian facility sits on 160 acres of rolling land with panoramic views. There are 2 large outdoor rings with rubber and sand footing, a cross country schooling field and a large heated indoor arena with manicured sand and fiber footing. The indoor has a viewing room, kitchenette and bathroom with wifi available for riders!
Grooming & Tacking: Riders should arrive around 30 minutes early to groom and tack their own horses. Someone will be on site to direct riders to tack and assist if needed.
