
4 Week Barrel Racing Series
+ Competition
Hop in the saddle with us for 5 weekends covering how to ride for barrel racing! Finish the series with a competition to win money!
Lessons are focused on pattern work and aiding our horses in using their bodies correctly for a successful barrel run. It will be a building process over the course of 5 weeks. The competition will be held at the stable.
PROGRAM
10:45AM- Riders arrive
11:00AM- Lesson begins
12:00PM- Lesson ends
May 6- 1 hour intro and beginning techniques
May 14 *Sunday*- 1 hour building on previous week
May 20- 1 hour building on previous week
May 27- 1 hour preparing for competition
June 3- Competition, chance to win money and bragging rights!
HORSES
American Quarter horses trained for barrel racing.
LEVEL
Level 2. Click here for description of levels.
Riders should feel comfortable trotting in a western saddle without pulling on the reins for balance. Higher level riders will be given more complex exercises and spirited horses based on their comfort level.

ATTIRE
Western casual. Jeans, a small heeled boot or riding boot. Helmets are available on-site.
