Summer Camp

Week 4, Cross Country and Hunt Camp

This is a camp for all the confident arena jumpers who are looking to gain experience with cross country (xc) jumping! Do you have experience jumping and ready to take it to the next level with the goal of joining hunter paces, foxhunts and our trips? This camp will focus on open space riding and cross country jumping.

Riding outdoor jump obstacles requires a different seat and position. You also must be conscious of the footing, terrain and elements before and after your jumps. Horses can also behave differently when in open space. This camp is for the confident arena jumpers wanting to get the open space education and for those who already have some xc experience but want to build confidence! Education sessions will also prepare you for hunter paces and foxhunting teaching you how to ride in groups and etiquette.
